Description |
This is the Violin 1 part from the full score of 'Winter.' Elementary to middle school age youth orchestras can play this part quite easily. This Violin 1 part allow the students to get an idea of the 'real' Winter in terms of the melody and rhythm. This Arrangement is in D Major of two sharps of which normally is the 1st scale one learn at an early age! so, playing this music become even easier! One does not have to worry about challenging keys and fingerings as well! This Violin 1 part is playable and fun! Lastly, this Arrangement allow students to understand, learn and play in the 'style' of Baroque music (unknowingly) by playing contrasting dynamics and using very little bow of which was the only way to play during the 17th and 18th century! due to the length of the bow and of course, the instrument! It is very exciting to hear and see youths playing these Arrangements! They feel empowered! |
